Sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate (NaDCC) is used as a disinfectant, sanitizer, and bleaching agent in a variety of industries. When NaDCC is added to water, it breaks down into hypochlorous acid and CYA. The hypochlorous acid then acts as a disinfectant, killing bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms. The CYA acts as a stabilizer, preventing the hypochlorous acid from breaking down too quickly.

Usage
Pour the solution of sodium dichloroisocyanurate onto the water surface, or added this product directly into the pool water if not in a liner swimming pool (not recommended).
